Psychedelics and Pain Symposium 2023
The Psychedelics & Pain Symposium 2023 is coming, July 15-16th. Hosted by REMAP Therapeutics with support from Psychedelics Today, Cluster Busters, & the Psychedelics & Pain Association, the Symposium represents and elevates the rapidly growing body of knowledge in research and pain-patient communities around the use of psychedelics for pain management.
This 2-day all online conference is the only one if it’s kind — and is not to be missed. Join us to learn directly from academic leaders from top research universities from around the globe. Researchers will present the latest findings from active studies, review historical understandings in this burgeoning field and share case studies from real patients.
Representatives from the following universities will give in-depth, 20-minute presentations followed by participant Q&A:
UC San Diego
Stanford
Yale
Imperial College London
Vancouver Island University
Maastricht University Netherlands
University of Pennsylvania
Virginia Commonwealth University
Research conditions explored over the 2-days will include:
Phantom-limb pain
Fibromyalgia
Long-COVID
Spinal cord injuries
Neuropathic pain
Low-back pain
Chronic pain comorbid with PTSD
Cluster & Migraines headaches
Each day will feature a core 1-hour workshop, taught by our expert presenters, exploring deeply into known mechanisms of action, brain structure targets of investigation, clinical pearls, & the latest developments in the approach to use of psychedelics for pain.
Saturday | Clinician & Practitioner Workshop, open to all
Sunday | Pain Patient Workshop, open to all
Two compelling case studies will be shared over the weekend as we bring the real-world potential of this research into sharp focus. First, Jim Harris, featured in Outside Magazine will join us live to share his remarkable story of recovery from spinal cord injury using psilocybin and physical therapy. Second we will learn the story of “M.A.”, the subject of an imminent case-study publication who experienced striking remission from intractable long-COVID utilizing a joint protocol of MDMA & psilocybin, as featured in Time magazine.
JOIN US! Tickets for the Psychedelics & Pain Symposium can be purchased at our Eventbrite portal. Sliding scale available for disability/fixed income/MIL/LEO/FR/student; see ticketing page for details.
